Cylindrical roller bearings, single row

ISB single row cylindrical roller bearings are manufactured in a wide range of different versions and are always separable to facilitate assembly. Roller bearings are able to withstand high radial loads and to reach high speeds. The rollers and respective cage can be guided by the inner ring or by the outer ring; out of the two rings that make up the bearing, the one that guides the roller is flanged, the second ring is not flanged and can be extracted. What differentiates the variants of cylindrical roller bearings is the type of flange. Here are the most common versions.
NU version
Outer ring with two integral flanges, inner ring without flanges. Axial displacement of the shaft compared to the housing can be accommodated inside the bearing in both directions.
N version
Inner ring with two integral flanges, outer ring without flanges. Axial displacement of the shaft compared to the housing can be accommodated inside the bearing in both directions
NJ version
Outer ring with two integral flanges, inner ring with just one flange. The shaft is bound axially in one direction.
NUP version
Outer ring with two integral flanges, inner ring with one integral flange and one added non-integral flange. The shaft is bound axially in both directions.
