SLEWING BEARINGS WITH TRIPLE ROLLER BEARING ROWS, OUTER GEAR TEETH
ISB slewing bearings in the ER3 standard series are comprised of three rows of crossed roller bearings,
two of which accommodate axial loads and the other radial loads, separated by a spacer in Nylon, with outer gear teeth.
The triple row construction is comprised of three forged rings, one of which with outer gear teeth and two which form
the untoothed inner ring, bound together with screws.
The load applied to this type of bearing is distributed across the three rows of rollers in the same way and in the directions
in which it is applied, without angular decomposition.
This allows the triple roller row structure to withstand very heavy loads with high tilting moments.
ADVANTAGES
ISB slewing bearings in the ER3 standard series are the only solution when the static load or fatigue cycle values of the bearing
are too high for all other types of slewing bearings.
SPECIAL TECHINCAL FEATURES
ISB slewing bearings in the ER3 standard series are generally used with a vertical axis, but are also typically and frequently used with a
horizontal axis and steel cage.
